Mexico Activities: Take a Tequila Tour from Guadalajara

Many people have shared a tequila shot at a bar or sipped on a margarita but few have the chance to see where the tequila started from.

Tequila tours are a great activity when visiting Guadalajara as well as a fun way to learn more about Mexico's national drink.

Tequila Express offers tequila train tours that leave from Guadalajara and take you past the beautiful agave plants to San Jose del Reugio, where you will get a Herrradura distillery tour. The train ride is full of entertainment (Mariachi bands anyone?) and of course, tequila! The tour also includes lunch.

The tours operate on weekends.
