My favorite place to visit in Mexico is Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon. The hotel we stayed at was the beautiful Playa del Sol Grand Hotel. Our honeymoon was 3 years ago and we still talk about going back to that great hotel. We stayed there for about 4 days. It was an upstairs suite which was right on the beach with a nice patio and sliding doors facing the bay. What was most memorable was our first night. There was a thunderstorm brewing out in the bay with light up the night. We slept with the sliding door wide open with no curtains. Needless to say the thunder light up room. It was just so perfect. My wife loved it. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The theme the hotel carried was great. It wasnt the largest hotel there... which we prefered. We've been dying for a chance to go back.
